WE LOVE ORATIA – HELP US – HELP YOU
Our Ratepayers’ and Residents’ Association has undergone big changes in the last two years with a completely new committee trying to find their way, but we are now bedded in and fired up. We have been taking on the project of advocating for Oratia and we are keen to get some projects underway – one of those projects being this new website. We also want to advocate for appropriate re-investment in our small community: tree planting, landscaping, insulation and heating for our halls, a bicycle track, a café, a town square, appropriate parking, more fruit trees, and protection of the heritage status. Who knows! Help us to ensure our community stays a great place to live; a place where you want to live. Our membership is low, and we need the voice of the people to have weight with the council. Join! Anyone who lives or owns property in Oratia is eligible. Let us know what you think! Your membership will empower the Oratia Ratepayers’ and Residents’ Association to make things happen.
