est Auckland Yoga teaches yoga for all, regardless of age or path. The focus in our Yoga classes is on alignment. Through alignment comes physical awareness, strength and flexibility.
With the aid of props you are able to achieve poses and hold them for longer.
Our vision is to create an environment where you are able to have time for yourself while fully integrating your body, mind and spirit.
I have been doing Yoga for 13 years and discovered that as a qualified massage therapist the rehabilitative stretches I was giving my clients were all yoga poses I had been doing in class.
It was a natural process for me to train to teach yoga to enhance my growing knowledge of the human body.
Sharing the knowledge with my students on how to strengthen the body as well as nurturing it has become a passion.
I teach at Herne Bay and in Oratia at West Auckland Yoga.
I consistently do workshops with senior teachers from around the world and continue my training to keep my knowledge current and safe.
I have been training as a yoga practitioner for twelve years. I teach classes in Oratia and Piha. I believe yoga is for all people regardless of flexibility or fitness. Yoga provides great health benefits, both physical and mental.I am passionate about yoga and continue to study with senior teachers from New Zealand and around the world. I will be travelling to India later this year to further my Yoga studies at the Iyengar Institute with the Iyengars
