Expert sessions
Over three sessions, experts will talk about the very real issues facing our bees:
- Tales From Our Hives – Saturday 6 September, 3pm-4pm – Join the beekeepers from Earthbound Honey and the Town Hall Apiary as they talk about Urban vs Rural beekeeping.
- Bees and Conservation – Sunday 14 September, 1pm-2pm – Experts from the Auckland Beekeepers’ Club will focus on pollination and creating a healthy environment for our bees through education and conservation. Take home your own bee-friendly native plant and see a live hive.
- Backyard Beekeeping for All – Sunday 28 September, noon-1pm – Meet the team from Beezthings and their bees. learn about setting up your own hives, and talk about bee-friendly projects around Auckland.
