Parrs Park Playground upgrade is still progressing after a few design edits. Council are in the tender process now and if they find a suitable contractor then they are looking at a start date before Christmas and completion early 2014.
If you haven’t checked it out – at the back of Parrs Park, behind the astroturf playground – the council have clearly been upgrading tracks and plantings. It’s a great place for a trail bike with the kids or a walk with the dog. The magnolia’s are in bloom and it’s really a cool facility.
