Waitakere Ranges Local Board and Auckland Transport are looking at investing in some proposed safety and Transport upgrades in Oratia.
The proposal is in the early stages, and  they want your feedback to know if it should go ahead.  If you have any concerns, suggestions or issues you would like considered if the design phase  goes ahead include them in your feedback.  It would be good to see a bit of investment in Oratia so read full details of the proposal and give your feedback –  Here  and Map

HAVE YOUR SAY: Proposed Improvements to Pedestrian and Cycling Facilities on West Coast Road, Oratia

Auckland Transport (AT) and the Waitakere Ranges Local Board are seeking feedback on proposed improvements to pedestrian and cycling facilities along West Coast Road until Monday 31 August 2015.

The proposed improvements include a new three-meter wide off-road shared pedestrian and cycling path from Oratia District School and Kindergarten up to the existing roundabout at the intersection of Parrs Cross Road and West Coast Road. The proposal also includes a footpath extension on the other (northern) side of West Coast Road and improvements to pedestrian crossing facilities in two locations.
