Oratia Settlers’ Hall for Hire
The Oratia Settlers’ Hall is a heritage building built by the original settlers of Oratia as a community hall which opened in 1931. It was later extended by the community in 1989. It is the larger of the two community halls and has timber floors and high ceilings and a good indoor/outdoor flow onto a deck.
A great option for weddings, birthday parties, and other family and community events.
It is possible to book both the Oratia Settlers Hall and the Small Hall next door, which has access onto the Oratia Domain. Options include using the Small Hall or Domain for a wedding ceremony and the Settlers Hall for the reception.

FLOORPLAN – Settlers’ Hall
This suggested layout allows for 112 guests comfortably seated using our 750mm wide 8 8-seater (2.4 m) tables and 8 6-seater (1.8m) tables (more tables available on request) for seating plus 2 of our 2.4 metre trestle tables for the banquet. There is room left for a dance floor and there is also space on stage for a band.
