  7. Titirangi Community House: Claymation, Cartooning, French Lessons  for Kids, as well as a school holiday programme.  They also host adult clubs like Pottery and Art.
  8. Corbans Estate: We’ve got 13 children’s holiday classes coming up at the end of the month, from pottery, painting and cartooning to classes inspired by our favourite storybooks.

Draw your own video game – no coding required. Become creator, publisher and player of your own game and share it with the world. Recommended for children 8+.

Game making – Scratch Gaming

Come along and learn coding with Scratch Gaming. Own laptop required and this activity is suitable for 8+ years old.

Robots storytime and craft

Join us for our special holiday story time about robots and make your very own robot to take home.

3D pendant making
Friday 2 October, 10am – 12 noon
Come and try out our new 3Doodler pens and make yourself either a pendant or key holder. This acitvity is suitable for children 7+ years old.

Makey makey and Spheros
Monday 5 October, 10am – 12 noon
Have some fun and play the piano with a banana, bongos on playdoh and much more. Discover the Sphero’s abilities and design a maze to navigate it through. This activity is suitable for 8+ years old.

Stop-motion movies
Tuesday 6 October, 10am – 12 noon
Learn the basics of film and animation with Stop Motion Movies. Create, make and film your movie using tablets. This activity is suitable for children 6+.

Makerspace open day
Wednesday 7 October, 10am – 12 noon
Come in anytime between 10am and 12pm to have a go at Glen Eden Library’s Makerspace equipment. We have: Makey Makey, iPads, LittleBits Electronics, Sphero’s, 3Doodlers, Laptops and Android tablets and knitting equiptment. This activity is open for anyone to have a go and have some fun.

Friday 9 October, 2pm – 4pm
Celebrate the end of the school holidays by challenging your friends to a game. Younger children must be supervised.
